CRITICAL ACTION ALERT: FREE LUISA three-year-old child and his pregnant mother were deported in the dead of night here in Kansas City. Another immigrant, Luis has been unjustly detained. We need your action NOW.40 people showed up solidarity for Noah and Kenia at 3:15 this morning. While trying to accompany her clients and Kenia's partner, Luis, into the building, their lawyer was at first denied access. After repeatedly identifying herself as their attorney, she was knocked to the ground and bloodied by an ICE agent. She was ultimately taken away in an ambulance.Mass deportation is violence. It rips families, risks lives, bloodies bodies. This morning, we bore witness to that violence. The actions here show the need for a community response to keep ICE accountable. The reality is these actions by ICE happen everyday, and it is my own, and many others privilege to only be pushed into looking at these cruelties now. He was targeted and tricked by ICE agent Everett Chase as Luis was meant to say goodbye to Kenia, his partner, and Noah."Make the call. Leave messages. Flood his email.
